30th July

Yesterday, 29th July, (T G I F !) I went to a farm in the class. The farm is very old and it is very hot day, so I do not like the farm very much. I weeded the products and watched the house and outhouse and so on. It is very valuable experience. I watched OX. OX was peeing then. There are a lot of flies in the farm. I hate flies.

At dinner, I went to Japanese restaurant with Christy. However, she got lost the way, so I went to Olive Garden. It is Italian restaurant. They have pasta, salad and so on. I ate the pasta. It is sea foods and good! I like it, but too big to eat at all. I tool it out home.

Today, I get up at 9:30, and left at 10:00. I went to Iowa with Christy to meet Emily and Luke. It took two hours to go from Minnesota to Iowa. Emily and Luke spent the time in Iowa with their gma and gfa for 4 days. They was bought a lot of clothes by their grandparents. They showed me and Chris in the car. I ate hamburger and potatoes, and drink orange juice. It is so yummy!

On the way, I went to Cabela's with Chisty, Emily, and Luke. It is a shop for hunting, fishing, outdoor gear and so on. It is good place. I like it. There are a lot of stuffed animals in the shop. I was interesting.

I ate pizza with my host family in the house. It is very delicious. The pizza is same taste as Japan. I like it, too! After dinner, I played the game with my family. It is so funny. They showed the picture which is they were a baby. They are so cute. After that, I watch the movie.

Tomorrow, I will go to the Catholic Church with my host family. After that, I will go shopping, Moll of America with Christy and Emily.

Super Target

Today, after the classes in the moening, I went to Super Target near Bethel University. Do you know Super Target? I think it is like Mr. Max in Japan. There are a lot of food, clothes, accessories, glasses, miscellaneous goods, and so on in Target. It is good price for Japanese. I bought a lot of clothes, cosmetics, and so on. I was so fun! I enjoyed shopping! I and Haruka drank Starbucks coffee. It is delicious. I want to super Target again.

I came back home at 5, and I ate surpper with my host parents. Today's dinner is Corn, Chiken, and salad. It is delicious. I didn't like corn very much, but the corn I ate is very good. The corns are from Iowa. It is favorite place to made in it. I think I want my brothers to eat it. They like the corn.

After the dinner, I went to a shop named Bath & Body Works with my host mother. It is very cute.

I talked with my host parents about the big accidents in China. I think the accidents is so sad. And I did my homework with them, so I finished today's homework. I am happy.

Mississippi River

Today, I went to Bethel University for the first time. The university is very big and beautiful place and building. There is 50 thousand people in the university. I was surprised. The teacher (professor) can speak Japanese. They speak Japanese very well. I was surprised, too. I have a Sharon's EEC class in university. I like her, but I was very sleepy then for jet lag. So I was a little tired. After the class, we walk around in the university. There are many buildings in the university, so I cannot remember all places.

After the lunch, we went to Mississippi river. It is very big river. Japanese river is clearer than the Mississippi. I think that it looks like the Amazon river. I got on boart a ship. I can see beautiful view on the ship.

I will cook over a barbecue in the yard.

Now

I am in America now.

Yesterday, I left for Kumamoto at 9 am. I arrived at thr Haneda airport at about 11:30. We moved from Haneda airport to Narita international airport. It takes 1 hours. It is so far. I have a lunch in Narita International Airport. I eat Udon and is delicious. We left for Japan at about 16:00. In the plane, I eat or drink sometiong and sleep. I was surprised CA's atitude is bad. I arrived at Minneapolice airport at 3:00, 25 July (Japan time).

In the airport, the Haider family wait and welcom for me. I was pleasured. We are so cute. We went home by father's car. Their house is big and cute. I think that it is American house.

Go to America

I am going to go to Minnesota, in America for a month in order to participate home stay program. I am very very busy every day. I have to do my home work, practice tennis, work and so on... So I could not time to ready for going to America very well.

My host family is Jeff and Christy Haider. They are very kind of me. Haider family consists father, mother, a  daughter, and a son. Her name is Emily and she is 13 years old. His name is Luke and he is 11 years old. They are very cute. They have a pet, his name is Champ. He is half Bichon and half King Charles Cavalier ... he is very sweet!

The drive to the University from their house is about half an hour. I do not know how to get to the university. I will have my hair cut in U.S. I could not have my hair cut when I am in Japan. I had no time for my hair cut. I want to go shopping somewhere, I would like to buy souvenirs for my family and friends! I want to bought my present.

I will make a lot of friends in US. I want to speak English a lot. I do not speak English very well, but impossible is nothing! I will use only English! I hope that I play tennis in the university. My host family sometimes plays tennis. I am glad to hear they play tennis!

Now, I worry about using the Internet in my host family house. I want to send e-mail to my family and friends. I want to write my dairy on my blog. I bought a lot of souvenirs in Japan. My mother bought a lot of Japanese souvenirs. I was surprised at a lot of souvenirs. I will take it in America. Will my host family be pleased? If they are pleased, I was so happy. What is more, I worry about my grandmother in Japan. She catches a cold now, so sick. My grandmother in Japan is 74 years old, it is elderly. I live in same house in Kumamoto city. She was always cherrful, but busy. So does she catch a cold?

It takes me for 11 hours to go to America from Narita airport by plane. I feel that it is so long time. I will sleep, play game, or talk with my friends. I am looking forward to seeing my host family, staying in America, going shopping, cutting my hair and studying English in the University. I hope thet we will spend happy time in U.S.
