BR 2-11: Adventure of Huckleberry Finn

"Well, I got a good going- over in the morning, from old Miss Watson, on account of my clothes." (Twein, 1985, P.23).

I knew the story because I watched the movie and read the book in the class. Mark Twein is famous novel writer in the U.S. It is the famous story, so I wanted to read again and write reviews.

The main character is Huckleberry Finn. He is a curious, silly and adventurous boy. He adventured with Jim. Jim was African American, and slave. They were going down to the north of the Ohio river for getting freedom!

The interesting point is that Huck told people a lie many many times. He protected himself to live. His lie was so exiting. However, sometimes people found him tell a lie. His lie is for protecting them.

BR 2-10: This is London

"There are many exiting things to do in London. It is a fun city!" (P.4, Prowse, 2006).

The why that I choose the book is that I am interested in London. I would like to go to London sometime. I think that London is the beautiful city. London is the biggest city in British. It is one of the famous cities in the world.

The book is written about London. For example, parks, churches, museums, and so on. The book introduced a lot of famous place. Then, there are not only sightseeing but also history in London.

My favorite is Covent Garden. In 1600's, Covent Garden was a fruit and flower market. Now we can buy clothes and antiques there. I want to go there and go shopping! Other my favorite is tower bridge. I want to go The River Thames, and watch Tower Bridge.

BR 2-09: New York Cafe

"A better America, I want a better America." (P.21, Dean, 2000)

The why I choose the book is I feel "What is New York cafe?" I think that New York cafe is normal cafe, but actually it may not be cafe.

This story is in New York, in 2030. It is written like daily. The cafe is a computer cafe. The main characters are The Fuller. They wanted to help poor people and made them happy. Morever, they wish better America and want to be better America.

The interesting point of the book is the effort of the Fullers. They made a lot of efforts, however, it could not be realized. I think that it is sad story and I hope that it will be peace world in 2030.

There are a lot of memories in my high school days. First of all, I belonged to tennis team of the high school. I had never played tennis when I decided to be on the tennis team. When I start to play tennis, it was very hard for me to play tennis. Although I was not good at playing tennis, I practiced it almost every day. I practiced with Ayako, who was one older than I. The member of the team is only 6 people. The other team mate did not practice it very hard. The tennis team is not strong, but I think that it is important for us to practice it hard, so I practiced. In 2nd grade, she retired to be the tennis team for entrance exams of university. I could not practice very hard because I did not have team mate who practiced very hard. I was sad, but I practice it again and again. I practiced whatever I could do.

I think that it is the most important for me to sleep in my all life. I sleep about over 8 hours in a day. Sleeping is very important. I know that sleeping is more important than food. A person who dose not sleep dies faster than a person who dose not eat. If you go to sleep 12 hours late, It will take your body about three weeks to return normal. We spend about one third of our lives in sleep. That is about 121 days in a year.We are all different which we need to sleep is. A baby 16 hours of sleeping every day. Children 6 to 12 years old need an average of 10 to 12 hours. When I was elementary school student, my mother said "you have to go to bed" at 9 pm, so I went to bed at about 9 pm, and got up at about 7. I was used to sleep about 10 hours. It is average!

Green tea match Japanese food because it is healthy. When I went to America, American people often drink pops or water while eating. However, I often green tea or barley tea in Japan while eating. My parents and grandmother often drink green tea, too. It is different, so I think that green tea is one of the most important drinks for Japanese. 3. When I was high school student, I studied English very hard because I had entrance exam for universities. Actually, I wanted to go other public university. Now, I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. It is not the school which I wanted to go.

4. I would like to tell you about how to study English. I think that it has three important points of my studying.

5. First of all, I studied a lot of words. I needed to have English vocabulary for passing entrance exam, so I bought English words card and studied over and over. Then, if I had unmemorable cards, I wrote words and pronounce again and again. The photo are words card and idiom card. The words card are called "Tango Ou", it means "words of prince".

6. The other way was listening to CD of pronouncing many English words. I have a book which called "Yumetan". It meant that "your dream can realize!". Yumetan is the book for memorizing of English words. What a funny name the book was!  The book was used by my English class of my school. Sometimes I had a quiz in the class, so I studied very hard!

7. Second, I had to read long sentence. In common English exam, it was made long sentence. 

The picture is the common exam of English. It is not one of my favorite exams. I hate the exam very much!!

8. However, it was the hardest for me to read long English sentence, so I practice reading long sentence any number of times. Sometimes, I was taught some hangs by my teachers. I became more and more read better reading English long sentence than before.

9. Next, I had to write English composition. I needed to write English sentences in 2nd exam for public university.

10. One of the hang was using simple words, and make simple English sentences. I changed the questions of Japanese to simple Japanese, and changed Japanese to English. Then, the Japanese sentences should be easy for making English sentences. The other hang was nothing, anyway, I made them and corrected right sentences.

11. In addition, when I was 2nd grade of high school, I listened to radio for study English. It was very basic and simple, but I reviewed basic English. The radio's channel was broadcasting every ordinary day. I listened to the channel every time.

12. As a result, although I could not go the school I wished, but it is good choice that I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. It is precious experience that I studied all subjects very hard. I will make use of the experience to the full, and I hope I will get a job.

I will tell you about American table customs. In last August, I had been o America for a month to stay and paticipate in a homestay program. First, all meals are very simple. Next, in my host family, they pray every day before the eat dinner and lunch. they are christian, so they do. Finally, they do not often share their drink. In my country, there are a lot of different table customs from other countries. For example, when I eat something, I cannot draw up my knees. In Korea, it is OK to draw up their knees. However, it is one of the bad manners in my country. Then, we do not use bare hands when we eat. We often use chopsticks when we eat. In India, they often use their right hand for eating. There is no custom of using bare hands in Japan when we are eating. That is why we have different table ustoms different from other countries.

First of all, in Japan, we often use chopstiks. Of course, we use a knife, fork or spoon, but we use chopsticks more than them. Second, when start eating, we often say "Itadaki masu", it means we receive animate things. It is the Japanese thinking for eating. Japanese think it is important. Finally, it is important for Japanese people to know how to use chopsticks. There are a lot of manners for using chopsticks in Japan. For example, if you put chopsticks a bowl of rice,it is one of bad manners. As a result, there are strange table custom in my country.

BR 2-08: Sam Runs Away

"All you do is ardue!" (p.19, Alexander, 2001).

The reason why I choose the book is that I want to know Why Sam run away. Sometimes, I want to run away when I am tired or have to do a lot of my homework.  I think that Sam's running away must have some reason.

I would like to tell about the out view of the story. One day, Sam could not bear arguing of her parents and she run away. She ran back towards the castle, and went into the secret room. Then, Ben appeared in the doorway. She told him about her parents there. Sam decided to go home there. However, she got back home, her parents got angry. Sam cried and told them her feeling. They understood her feeling. They became happy.

The interesting point is the scene of running away and going the secret room. I wanted to go the secret room when I am nervous

BR 2-07: Why?

The reason why I choose the book is that I  want to know about the story. The title is "Why?", so I thought what "why" is about. That is why I wanted to read the book.

This story is about the war. The main character is Alex, he wass a soilder in the army. He had to go Tonek, Glossia, so he said "good bye" to Sara. Sara was his girl friend. However, he was dead while patrol. He sent her email every day, but he could not send her email because he died. She worried about him and sent email to him, "Why don't you answer my emails? Are you OK? Why don't you write? Why? Why?" That's why the title is "why?"

The interesting point is that there is no town called Tonek, and there is no Glossia in the world. It is fiction. However, writer said, "There are countries  like Glossia all over the world." I think it is like non fiction.

One of my favorite actresses is Erika Sawajiri. she is so beautiful. I like her face. She is half the French and half Japanese. What is more, she is so good character actress. Her acting ability is so nice. She made her debut in 2003. In 2005, she played the leading role in "tears of 1 L". she became the focus of public attention. At the time, I was 14 years old, and 2nd grade of junior high school, when I watched the drama, I began to have so good impression for her. Regrettable, she is so stubborn that she happened many problems. Recently, she do actress activity again. I am happy that I can watch that she will be on TV again.

The reason why I choose the book is that the it is funny and interesting picture. Sometimes, my car or my motorcycle were broken, so I felt same things of them. My car is old. We drive for about 10 years. So I want to read the book this time.

I will tell you the out view of the story. The main character is Bonnie. She is very boyish. She likes cars.  She really want model cars, but her mother cannot understand her thinking. Her mom said "girls need nice dresses and jewellery". Her parents believed girls should learn to cook and clean. However, her grandfather understand her feeling, so he give her model cars for her birthday. Finally, she is good at being fixed. It is very useful for her family.

The interesting point of the story is difference of thinking. I think her parents' thinking is very old. It denies her feeling.

I will tell you about McDonald in America. The reason why I chose the topics is that I worked McDonald in Japan. There are many Macdonald’s in the world. Before I visited America, I know that America is the birthplace of Mcdonald because I studied Reading II class in university. I was interested in American Mcdonald, so I told my host parents that I wanted to go to Mcdonald, and they took me to Mcdonald many times.

Recently, many people in the world use McDonald and eat and drink their foods. McDonald, the business began in 1940, with a restaurant opened by brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald in San Bernardino, California. Their introduction of the "Speedee Service System" in 1948 furthered the principles of the modern fast-food restaurant that the White Castle hamburger chain had already put into practice more than two decades earlier. The original mascot of McDonald's was a man with a chef's hat on top of a hamburger shaped head whose name was "Speedee." Speedee was eventually replaced with Ronald McDonald by 1967 when the company first filed a U.S. trademark on a clown shaped man having puffed out costume legs.

McDonald's first filed for a U.S. trademark on the name "McDonald's" on May 4, 1961, with the description "Drive-In Restaurant Services," which continues to be renewed through the end of December 2009. In the same year, on September 13, 1961, the company filed a logo trademark on an overlapping, double arched "M" symbol. The overlapping double arched "M" symbol logo was temporarily disfavored by September 6, 1962, when a trademark was filed for a single arch, shaped over many of the early McDonald's restaurants in the early years. Although the "Golden Arches" appeared in various forms, the present form as a letter "M" did not appear until November 18, 1968, when the company applied for a U.S. trademark.

McDonald's corporate logo used from 1968 to 2006. It still exists at some restaurants.The present corporation dates its founding to the opening of a franchised restaurant by Ray Kroc, in Des Plaines, Illinois, on April 15, 1955, the ninth McDonald's restaurant overall. Kroc later purchased the McDonald brothers' equity in the company and led its worldwide expansion, and the company became listed on the public stock markets in 1965. Kroc was also noted for aggressive business practices, compelling the McDonald brothers to leave the fast food industry. The McDonald brothers and Kroc feuded over control of the business, as documented in both Kroc's autobiography and in the McDonald brothers' autobiography. The site of the McDonald brothers' original restaurant is now a monument.

I think there are three different points.

First of all, in American McDonald's, there are a lot of menus. American McDonald has more kinds of menu than Japanese McDonald. For example, about sandwiches and burgers, there are 12 sandwiches and burgers in Japanese McDonald, as against there are 23 sandwiches in American McDonald (exclude sandwiches of a set period of time). I can tell you about its Drinks. In Japan, they have 25 kinds of drink, while there are 32 kinds of drink in America. As far as Drink is concerned, the size of America is bigger than Japan and we can pour carbonated drink our fill inside. Side menu are the same, there are more kinds of it in America than that of Japan. All menus have few same or many differences.

Second, I’ll tell you about drive-through and inside. I think American McDonald looks like Japanese McDonald. About drive-through, cars turn a screw counterclockwise because people have to keep the right side in America when people drive the car. In Japan, people have to drive the left side, so Japanese drive-through is contrary. If I am on inside, there are no menus on counter, only the upper side. In Japan, there are menus on counter, upper side and a lot of paper menus on inside.

Finally, It is different that merchandise is called. For example, in Japan, Sandwiches with medium drink and French flies, it is called "Set". However, in the U.S., people called it "combo". And what is called "potato" in Japan, people call it "French flies" in the U.S. I was surprised the difference when I heard them for the first time because I think that it is same how to call them.

Just the same, I found many same points between Japan and America. With reference to Sandwiches and burgers, some of them are same. Foe example, hamburger, cheese burger, double cheese burger, Filet-O-Fish, and so on. I think that French flies is the same size between Japan and America.

Basically,the form of treatment and a lot of logos are the same.

The Third Man, the story is in Vienna, Austria, and after the War II. The main character was Holly Martins. He was American and visited Vienna to see his friends, Harry Lime. Lime asked Martins to work, so Martins went to Vienna happily without the cent because he was broke in the U.S.

Martins arrived at Vienna and went to Lime’s flat. He climbed the flat and there was a porter sang in German on the floor. He knocked the door and the response was nothing. He heard the porter that Lime was died by an accident and was gone 10 minutes ago.

Martins walks through a cemetery. A group of mourners are gathered for a funeral. Martins approaches Calloway, one of the mourners.

Martins asked Calloway about Lime. After funeral, they went to bar and were having drinks. Martins told him about Lime, he is his best friend, and Martins had see him last September, 1939. Calloway talked Martins about Lime, he said that Lime was the worst racketeer that ever made a dirty living in the city. Calloway said murder was part of his racket. Martins could not believed that Lime was the worst racketeer and murder was part of his racket. Martins suspected Calloway that he was not going to close your file at a dead man's expense. Martins decided to inspect the accident.

Martins and Paine, who Martins met in the bar, entered the hotel. Paine carried Martin's bag as Martins held his handkerchief to his mouth. Hertman passed by and went to the front desk.

Holly Martins was famous writer in Vienna, so Paine knew him. Paine and Crabbin had be delighted to have Martins. Martins told them about Harry Lime and why he went to Vienna. And he suspected that Calloway that he was not going to close your file at a dead man's expense. Martins decided to inspect the accident.

Martins promise to Kurtz. Kurtz approached the cafe carrying a copy of Oklahoma Kid. Martins saw him from inside the cafe and went out to greet him. Kurtz was the best friend of Lime except Martins. They talked about Lime's accident. The police have a crazy notion that he was mixed up in some sort of racket, however, everyone in Vienna was same. They sold cigarettes and that kind of things. Kurtz told Martins, he have done things that would have seemed unthinkable before the war. Once when I was hard up, I sold some tires on the black market. Kurtz was with Lime when Lime died by the accident. Martins asked him to help Martins, however, Kurtz said “I wish I could, but you know, I am Austrian. I have to be careful with the police. I am afraid I cannot help you, except advice.” And he explained the situation at the time.

Martins and Kurtz stepped out onto the road. Kurtz said “Lime died here. He went to cross, and from up there came the truck.” Lime thought you even at the end. Lime asked him looking after Martins to got home safety. Calloway said Lime died instantaneously; however, actually, he died before the ambulance could reach us.

Martins looked for the person who can help him.

At the night, Martins went to the theater and met Anna, who went to the funeral of Lime. He asked her about Lime. He did not get it. All of them there. This Romanian, Popescu, his own driver knocking him over, his own doctor was just passing by. No strangers there at all.

Anna and the porter told him that Lime was quite dead, instantaneously. While they were talking, he was noticed by the porter that the third man, he was not doctor, and Kurtz. The third man did not give evidence. Martins suspected the third man.

When I was 16 years old, I had been to Bali, a part of Indonesia, for a week. It was a family trip. Bali is so beautiful island in Indonesia. In Bali, the season is all summer, they can separate the rainy season and dry season. Then, it is dry season, but I felt humid in Bali. There is beautiful sea and beautiful nature in Bali. There are a lot of Plumeria in Bali, it was decorated at temple. It is white flower and so pleasant smell. It is one of my favorite flowers. It is a religion flower. In Bali, The religion is Hindu. in Indonesia, the religion is Islamic. It is different religion in Bali. Balinese people are so kind, I talked some Balinese people in English. It is so fun for me to talk other country's people. I swam the sea, ate Indonesian food, and went shopping at local super market. I enjoyed spending special time in Bali.

The reason for choice is that I wanted to know how nice the house is and the picture is cute. I would like to live new house. When I was child, I lived the old house. Now, I moved the new house and I have lived for 12 years. I wish I will live alone sometime.

The overviews of this story is moving. A big man came to the house by van. When he looked at the thing, he was surprised that there are a lot of things out of the house. Mum and Dad helped the man because he could not put things in the van only him. Children helped, too. I think that Children is so cute because they said "What a big man!" when they looked the man. The writer express how cute Children is. The interesting point I think is that they put a lot of things in the van.

The Custom of My Country When Someone Invites Me 

 In my country, when a person invites you their home for the first time for dinner at 8:00, there are some things you do. It’s the custom. First, I arrive their home on time. If I arrived too early or late, they would confuse. Then, I take a gift which is famous in my town. For example, when I went to my friend’s house the other day, I took Jindaiko, famous Japanese sweets, its material is Anko and Mochi. Second, I usually say something nice about the house or dinner table. I say my feelings, for example, “What a beautiful house it is!” I never say a lie and the contrary. When I eat dinner, I don’t often ask for more, but if they suggest more and I want to eat, I eat more. Finally, I always say “Gochisou samadeshita.” It is a thankful expression in Japanise and important. After dinner, I leave their home when I feel the atmosphere.

Robin Hood is a historical movie. It is written about the middle ages in Europe. It was cinematized by Disney and Warner. It is famous all over the world. Characters that appeared in the movie are Robin Hood, Prince John, King Richard and Princess Marian. It is one of folklore on the middle ages in Europa.

We were impressed with Marian’s courage. She and Robin met recently but they fell in love each other. Unfortunately, they were enemy. They could’t allow to meet, talk and love each other. She misunderstood Robin and found that Robin is really good man. One day, she listened to prince John and his retainer are talking about Robin. They made a plan the assassination of Robin. Finally, she was arrested by prince John, but her nanny went to Robin’s house for her. We thought she is really brave woman.

Prince John, actually, he was serious mother complex. He usually put on a show of indifference in front of people. He collected heavy taxes from people. What was worse, he slept with the thumb sucking. If he could not suck the thumb, he could not sleep. We felt he was gross. However, we thought that this scene was one of the interesting points of the movie. That is because Prince John was actually weak and it is funny!

We especially liked an archery tournament scene. Robin knew this game was a trap for catching and killing him, but he went there anyway. We thought that he was really brave man. He was very cool because princess of enemy got to like him. Finally, he arrested the enemy but their members helped him. 

As a result, Robin Hood was brave. He helped people, and he was a champion of justice. People really trusted him! He escaped safely and he and the princess got married. What happy end the story is!

BR 2-04: The Rat Hunt

"Oh, no!" (Alexamder, 2001, p.31).

The reason why I choose the book, "The Rad Hunt" is that I want to know why it does hunt something. Rad is so small, so I think that it cannot often hunt.

The overview of the story is; main character is a Mouse and Jojo. The mouse's name is Ricky, and Jojo has a pet, Ricky. They are so good friends. One day, Jojo's birthday party was held him at his house. Then, Ricky flew out of its cage, Jojo worried about him. Although the party started and organized treasure hunt, he want to look for him. However, after treasure hunting, his mother found him in the birthday cake.

The interesting points of the story is Ricky's running away. It is so funny to be in the cake.

In my elementary school days, I have good memories. When I was 1st and 2nd grade, it took me 40 minutes to go to school. We cannot through the closest way because a bridge was broken by typhoon. I think that it is so far for elementary school students. After being fixed, we can throught the closest way. It took us 30 mimutes to go to school. It is good for us. The way is for agriculture, so we enjoy walking the road. We touch nature a lot. When I was 5th grade, I belong to badminton club. The club activity is twice in a week. Sometimes, there are some tournaments of elementary students in Kumamoto city. It is so fun. I have a lot of nice memories in elementary school days.

I do not often watch the movie, but I like movie. I have no time for watching DVD and go to theater. Recently, I watched Nodame cantabile, it is comedy movie of classical music. The main characters are Shinichi Chiaki and Megimi Noda. Megumi, she is often called Nodame, I think that it is a cute nick name. She loves Chiaki. First of all, he does not like her because she is noisy and messy. However, he noticed that her talent is so good and her potential is big, so he became anxious about her.  Another movie of my favorite is Tonari no Totoro. The characters are so cuuuuute and the story is happy end. I think it is a nice story.

BR 2-03: Key Trouble

Why is its title "Key Trouble"? I think so and it is the reason that I choose the book. I wanted to know the reason. This picture is a cover of the book, and a boy, his name is Kipper, bring the glow key.

The overview of the story is that the magic key took Kipper into a strange grey world. I think that the interesting point is Kipper was a grey like his grandma's picture when the magic key took Kipper his home. His family worried about him because he was something wrong. However, he was sorry to the magic key, and his color came back.

Essay 2-01b: Favorite Place

I have a lot of favorite places. This picture shows my favorite places. I am often in Kumamoto. I live in Akitsu, part of Kumamoto city. Sometimes, I go to Fukuoka for tennis match or see my friends. This time, however, I would like to tell you about my house.

My town is called Akitsu Lake Town, because maybe it is close to Ezu lake. My  home town is in a residential area about 20 minutes from my father's office. My father decided to built there because it is silent, and close to my father's working office. We can go his office by bus. He is a public officer. I am always on my house or in university. It takes me 30 minutes to go to my university by motorcycle. My home town is close to Clair, so my home town is useful place for us to go shopping.

My house is two-story building. The roof is flat. We can park 3 cars in my house. My house consists of 4 rooms, riving room, bath room, two rest room, and kitchen. However, my family consists of 6 people, my father, my mother, two my brothers, and my grandma, so we feel that our house is small for us.

I like my room, because only I use it, so I can spend own time. In my room, I read magazines, do my home work, listening to music, sleep a lot, and talk my friend on my cellphone. I enjoy spending time in my room. My room is in a little messy, so I have to clean my it...

Another my favorite room is bath room. My house has only one bath room. All my family use it. After I come back home, I am always so tired that it is important for me to take a shower and be flooded hot water. I can relax to be flooded hot water.

As a result, I love my house, my family and my home town. My house is not big, but necessary for me to keep my health, feeling happy, and communicate my family. I think that I need to be importance.

My name dose not have some meaning. my mother named my name. Then, she liked the tone of my name "Saori", it is her favorite, so she named me "Saori". Saori of my Kanji is a little different than usual. My mother thought that the number of strokes in Kanji is important, so she wanted to fit between my last name and my given name. Acutually, I do not like my name very much because my name dose not have some meaning. I am not often call "Saori" exclude my family. My friends of school call me Sally and my friends of tennis call me my last name or Mariko, so I do not need to change my name.

The Custom of My Country When Someone Invite Me 

 In my country, when a person invites you their home for the first time for dinner at 8:00, there are some things you do. It’s the custom. First, I arrive their home on time. If I arrived too early or late, they would confuse. Then, I take a gift which of kind is famous food or goods. For example, when I went to my friend’s house, I took Jindaiko. It is famous Japanese sweets, its material is Anko and Mochi. Second, I usually say something nice about the house or dinner table. I say my feelings. For example, “What a beautiful house it is!” I never say a lie and the contrary. When I eat dinner, I don’t often ask for more, but if they suggest more and I want to eat, I eat more. Finally, I always say “Gochisou samadeshita.” It is thankful expression and important. After dinner, I leave their home when I feel the atmosphere.

Robin Hood

This movie's place is in England. A main charactor of the movie is Robin Hood, who is very good at  atchery. At the time, Prince John is the prince of England, however, he extort tax from poor people a lot. People was more and more poor, so people disappointed Prince John.

Robin Hood steals some money with Little John, who is his partner, from the aristocratic and Prince John, and they give poor people the money. People was very thanksful for him, but Prince John is always annoyed Robin Hood and wanted to catch and kill Robin Hood.

Robin Hood, he tried his best to help poor people. The brave man, in the end, made the poor people and Marian happy. He married her because they loved each other. People bless them and was so glad them.

My favorite scene of the movie is that Robin Hood helped people who was too poor to pay their tax. I can understand that he is brave and kind by the scene. Prince John lost him, he is looser!! I feel JUSTICE win evil.

I have a lot of favorite places. This picture expresses my favorite places. I am often in Kumamoto. I live in Akitsu, part of Kumamoto city. Sometimes, I go to Fukuoka for a match of tennis or see my friends. This time, I would like to tell you about my house.

It took me 12 hours to go to Minneapolis airport from Narita airport.

It is the first time that I went to America, so I felt very long time.

30th July

Yesterday, 29th July, (T G I F !) I went to a farm in the class. The farm is very old and it is very hot day, so I do not like the farm very much. I weeded the products and watched the house and outhouse and so on. It is very valuable experience. I watched OX. OX was peeing then. There are a lot of flies in the farm. I hate flies.

At dinner, I went to Japanese restaurant with Christy. However, she got lost the way, so I went to Olive Garden. It is Italian restaurant. They have pasta, salad and so on. I ate the pasta. It is sea foods and good! I like it, but too big to eat at all. I tool it out home.

Today, I get up at 9:30, and left at 10:00. I went to Iowa with Christy to meet Emily and Luke. It took two hours to go from Minnesota to Iowa. Emily and Luke spent the time in Iowa with their gma and gfa for 4 days. They was bought a lot of clothes by their grandparents. They showed me and Chris in the car. I ate hamburger and potatoes, and drink orange juice. It is so yummy!

On the way, I went to Cabela's with Chisty, Emily, and Luke. It is a shop for hunting, fishing, outdoor gear and so on. It is good place. I like it. There are a lot of stuffed animals in the shop. I was interesting.

I ate pizza with my host family in the house. It is very delicious. The pizza is same taste as Japan. I like it, too! After dinner, I played the game with my family. It is so funny. They showed the picture which is they were a baby. They are so cute. After that, I watch the movie.

Tomorrow, I will go to the Catholic Church with my host family. After that, I will go shopping, Moll of America with Christy and Emily.
